For NaBloPoMo, where today’s prompt is:
What do you think would be the hardest job for you to do?
I think the hardest job would be to be a perfect mom! Not sure it exists but I do know a few moms whom I aspire more to be like but even getting to that point is going to be a toughie. I know there are many a time when my little ones come and say to me, “you are the bestest mommy ever”. And I feel that I am but on others when I raise my voice or am unable to spend time with them because of another meeting or some other something, I do not feel so at all. But this job of mine is definitely worth it.

For dVerse Poets Pub, Three Word Wednesday(lavish, dangle, abnormal) and Imaginary Garden with Real Toads:
Words from Real Toads: An Ink-Stained Word List – Those who read Izy Gruye’s interview of De Jackson last
week will know that she threw out a challenge to all commentators to
share their favourite word, and suggested we use the list of words as
inspiration for poetry. Well, we love a challenge at Real Toads. Here
follows “the list” of 30 words. Remember that a poem can be built around
a single word, but you are free to use as many as you need to express
your creative ideas. – Use one or more: Linoleum, ubiquitous
serendipity, synchronicity, voice rejoice silence gypsy slumber
endless peace butterfly indigo paw alabaster bedazzled idea magical patience hope sacred ejaculation periwinkle

I was able to use all the words in this poem except one which I could not fit here:). This is my first time joining here at Real Toads.
Oh my little
snicklefritz, you are the sweetest little miss
snicklefritz, you are the sweetest little miss
When you are all grown
up, you will still be my snicklefritz.
up, you will still be my snicklefritz.
I
remember you on the old linoleum floor, chasing an indigo butterfly out the
door
remember you on the old linoleum floor, chasing an indigo butterfly out the
door
You
are certainly ubiquitous; Synchronicity is in your repertoire.
are certainly ubiquitous; Synchronicity is in your repertoire.
I sometimes need
patience, lots of it – in abundance
patience, lots of it – in abundance
Patience seemingly
endless, to balance your exuberance
endless, to balance your exuberance
I
am bedazzled by your smile, by your ability to talk a mile
am bedazzled by your smile, by your ability to talk a mile
a minute and your ideas magical, by your hope that everything is worthwhile
No chthonic paw can
reach you dear, for mother is here, do not fear
reach you dear, for mother is here, do not fear
So dream of indigo periwinkles,
of horsefeathers made of alabaster.
of horsefeathers made of alabaster.
How
I always feel at peace, in slumber when you are at ease
I always feel at peace, in slumber when you are at ease
An
orangey mariposa on a briar brings a smile, how easy you are to please.
orangey mariposa on a briar brings a smile, how easy you are to please.
I definitely rejoice, when
I hear your voice
I hear your voice
And in those rare moments
of silence, your presence gives me the best of joys.
of silence, your presence gives me the best of joys.
Was
it serendipity that made you mine, a gypsy’s foretelling or something divine?
it serendipity that made you mine, a gypsy’s foretelling or something divine?
Whatever
it is -it is sacred, this shingadoogie that made you mine.
it is -it is sacred, this shingadoogie that made you mine.
No matter what lavish bits,
or abnormally wonderful benefits
or abnormally wonderful benefits
Are dangled before me,
I will never trade my snicklefritz
I will never trade my snicklefritz
