For 3WW:(heave, valid, ponder)

As I heave the load of everyday

It seems heavy of late,

Seems like more work and less play.

This leads me to ponder

I wonder why and wonder

If this heaviness is a valid pain

Or just a little strain.

Maybe I have just become less able

Or maybe a little more lazy

Such that this everyday business

Of late has made play something hazy

And work is now completely my tale.

For ABC Wednesday’s  letter of the week, F, I am continuing my theme of women authors: 

Anne Frank – The Diary of a Young Girl – I always wished I would have the resourceful courage of Anne Frank! Anne Frank, as a writer of a journal, hiding away in Nazi Germany, and Anne Frank, the young girl growing up and learning about herself – both have always fascinated and awed me. This is not a work of fiction but facts which made it all the more
capable of making me feel – rage at what happened to Anne and the
millions of others, at the horrors of war, sadness at the thought of the
lives lost, smiles at the amusing anecdotes Anne wrote about made all
the more so because of their situation, and awe at Anne’s spirit and
strength.
