October is National Book Month, so this week’s poetic Sundays is devoted to wonderful poems about books and reading. I am guessing I might have shared a few of these before but here they are again, for they are worth reading many times over.

- October 21st is National Archives Day
- The 27th is World Day for Audiovisual Heritage
Foodie Celebrations
- October 21st brings with it International Nacho Day and given the season, it is natural to celebrate National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day on this date! It also happens to be National Apple Day
- The 22nd is National Nut Day
- And the 23rd October celebrates the delish National Boston Cream Pie Day
- The 24th is simply – National Food Day
- While October 25th is World Pasta Day and National Breadstick Day
- It is National Pumpkin Day on the 26th
- Followed by National American Beer Day on the 27th of October

- It is Back to the Future Day on the 21st as well as Celebration of the Mind Day. Plusssss, it is National Reptile Day
- While the 22nd is National Color Day
- The 23rd of October celebrates a beautiful and majestic animal; it is International Snow Leopard Day
- United Nations Day is on the 24th of October
- The 25th happens to be National Fine Art Appreciation Day and World Lemur Day
- Followed by Make a Difference Day on October 26th
- And the 27th happens to be National Mentoring Day
