NaBloPoMo – how hard do you think you work

To put it shortly: When I work, I work very hard, and when I don’t, I hardly work at all..:)
(though the don’t times are so few and far between)…

Imagination is a powerful thing
With it, you can ride a cycle while you are dancing,
You can go anywhere you want
Be it real or a favorite dream haunt
And best of all, you can do anything
While you are right where you are sitting
Imagination is wonderful indeed
You can be a knight or his steed
You can write a story on the moon
Or take a underwater trip in a balloon
Imagination makes my brain-bank go kaching!
You can make up words, like lazaping
You can imagine yourself to be the best You
Imagine yourself better and make it true
You never know what it can bring
So go imagine a wonderful something!

  3. I love chocolate too. That has to be the most important C word of all. I also love your imagination poem. Part of me likes the thought of writing a story on the moon but then I wonder if there would be any inspiration around and then my imagination realized that I would be sitting on the side of which I could see our planet and that would be the best inspiration of all. Yes, I have taken a ride with you and enjoyed the underwater trip too.

    1. Of course, Chocolate is soooo important… Thank you so much for your compliments.. In my imagination, the moon is fascinating (though not the H.G.Wells version of it!)..and yes, if I was watching Earth, that would be just perfect

  4. Well this was lots of fun, and I loved the Powerful Imagining theme running through. Of course you took a fair amount of liberty with the form, but rules are meant to be broken and the poem is you! Enjoyed it a lot! Thanks.

      “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”
      But I did make updates to my poem with a refrain..just to see how it looks..
