One of the last blooms in our garden. This goes towards the Saturday Snapshot meme
This is what I thought of the seasons this year…:
The seasons this year,
seemed a little confused around here;
We had warm weather in February
followed by a long, cold spring
which meant that the plants and trees
they were just a little addled and thinking –
“Should our flowers bloom or not?”
This was followed by a late summer
which lasted a little longer than it does
and so now I am still enjoying some roses
though it is almost December!
Saturday Snapshot is a meme hosted by Alyce at At Home with Books. All
you have to do is “post a photo that you (or a friend or
family member) have taken and then leave a direct link
to your post in the Mr. Linky on [her] blog. Photos can
be old or new, and be of anything as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give is up to you.” All she asks is that you don’t just post random photos that you find online.

All great, but the last one is very uplifting and positive!
How neat that what would be considered almost winter, you are still enjoying a touch of spring with your roses! I hope you and your family and a very nice Thanksgiving!

That's such a pretty rose! Ours have pretty much all died out.
The rose has everything, and is my favorite flower.
I recall being in The Butchart Gardens [Victoria] when I lingered in the rose section until I completely lost track of time, enmeshed in the beauty and the fragrance of the best flowers on earth.
Gorgeous photo.
I especially like the quotes you chose and I agree, the weather has been a bit unusual everywhere. Beautiful photo.
