ooh how fun! I love a good contest though I am not the best at reading at the beach cause I am a fidgety adventure traveler. However, Darcee loves to sit in her chair watching me crashing through the waves while she reads so I am going to try to win that Eleanor Oliphant book for her.
By the way, I have never even heard of the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Joke Book. I have it on my bucket list to read two of his books: Going Solo & Boy cause they are about his crazy adventures but I bet his Joke book is hilarious. Such a creative and bizarre imagination!
well, you can read just about anywhere too… and this was the first I had heard of the Roald Dahl joke book
wow so many cool options! We live in Florida and go to the beach often so we appreciate a nice collection of books to bring to our beach visits thanks for the suggestions
🙂 we visited a couple of beaches on our trip to Orlando this past December and loved the Atlantic coast just as much as we do our Pacific beaches here in the Bay Area of California
Thanks for these options, I can’t wait till it’s beach weather here so I can enjoy a book on the shore!
:)me too
Thank you so much for the information, I’m so glad to find my country is on the list for Book Depository so that I can join the giveaway. Will definitely do it! 🙂
good luck!!
Haystack Rock in Oregon
🙂 will check it out… but we enjoyed our visit to Oregon last summer… (and we did visit a couple of beaches, though most of our trip was further inland – Crater Lake, Ashland, and around)
Perranporth beach in Cornwall, UK.
someday to Cornwall…
Wow, so many options! Thanks for sharing these! I’ve been wanting to start reading more but about to have a newborn in less than 3 months so we’ll see if I actually achieve my goal…
wow, that is an exciting time to look forward to indeed
.. for me, the next thing we look forward to is summer vacations for the kids (and when that starts, we start waiting for school to start)..
I don’t know, I only went to the beach once and I don’t think I read there! (I did at the hotel, though, but I don’t think that counts 😉 )
🙂 well, you read (at the hotel) on the beach so it counts….
Sounds like interesting books. I would love to read Roald Dahl’s joke book ! I love his imagination and creativity in the other books he wrote.
This is a very cool giveaway! I’m not much of reader, but I have recently discovered audiobooks and those have really been helpful for me.
Great book choices! I love reading books everywhere. Reading a book on the beach is so relaxing.
I really like that you are offering a chance to win a book. I have been trying to find a good read, I am going to look into “Confessions of a Frugal Mind”.
My pool, I’m not a fan of beaches, with all the sand and people.
I prefer pools actually due to sand being wedged between my toenails. EEKS
I haven’t picked up a book in a while! Definitely time for me to set some time aside and get back at it!
Loved “Me Talk Pretty One Day” and “Little Fires Everywhere”. Great choices.
I love reading on the beach, it’s so relaxing! What a great giveaway!
South Florida!
very nice giveaway! i love to read at the beach. cant wait for warmer weather so i can do so. these titles seem very interesting.
So many good books to read, so little time. I wish I live near a beach and just read books all day.
Great list! Wish I could read at the beach, but sadly I’m chasing my toddler and/or dog most of the time. Ha! I’ve heard lots of good things about Me Talk Pretty One Day. Thanks for the reminder to put it on my list.
This giveaway sounds great. I love a good book at the beach. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve been looking for new books to read with my son (who gets tired of them rather quickly) so I appreciated this post. What a great list! Looking forward to doing some reading at the beach myself 😉
Life is definitely better at a beach for sure. I definitely need to make a summer reading list!
So many choices. I am currently reading Little Fires Everywhere. I seem so distracted lately. Maybe sitting in the beach will help me focus. Fun contest.
There’s nothing better than a day at the beach!! I’ll be sure to pick up a few of these titles for the summer! We spend a few months at the shore every summer 🙂
Beach reading sounds so relaxing right now. I may just put that on the list of things to do this weekend.
This is a great giveaway. I don’t get to read on the beach but I do love curling up on my couch to read a great book.
Im just getting back into reading. Get my new KOBO next month. Not going to lie, reading on the beach does sound dreamy!
Thanks for this!
I love to read books:) I need to try on the beach if it’s so relaxing:)
I don’t have one :/
Yes, Beach is the best place to read chat and enjoy. I still remember our last trip to Goa. We really had a good time there in the beach. Thank you for all the options.
Such a cool giveaway! Hope there are deserving winners. I myself never went out to a beach with a book. Though I would love now. Beach in itself is very therapeutic and I would rather enjoy the view but every experience counts so I would love def love to take my book the next time I visit a beach.
no fav
Relaxing at the beach with a good book sounds simply amazing right now!!
I am not a fan of the beach except to look at from a balcony. My favorite beach to sit on a balcony, read a book, and look at the water is Panama City Beach in Florida.
This is a great collection. My daughters would love this post.
I was just out stocking up on summer reading material for both my kiddos and myself- we have a road trip to the beach planned next month, so plenty of reading time ahead!
Wow! This is such a cool collection! I love books and beaches, not at the same though. 🙂
I don’t read at the beach. I burn to a crisp at the beach. :/
🙂 then, a cool spot under the trees for you to read
I live near a very nice beach called Lido Beach in Sarasota, Florida. I enjoy reading on that beach.
I’d say rocky beaches, because to most of the people they’re uncomfortable and expecially children don’t go there, so they’re quite and not so crowded…
I maybe sound like anti-social, but I love to read in peace…
i totally get what you are saying, and if i would be going to the beach for the main purpose of reading, i might choose a beach that is similar too 🙂
The ones in Florida. They are cleaner and whiter than most.
I have never read on a beach but I would love to try.
“Your favorite beach to read in?” The private cove at my supervillain lair!
My favorite beach to read in is Santa Cruz, CA. Thanks for the giveaway!
🙂 the beaches along the Bay Area coastline are among my favorite too.. Santa Cruz through Pacifica
Oh I love going to our local lake beach! They have a fun beach and playarea for the kids! We love to go and play …and read! So relaxing listening to the waves come in!
My favorite beach is South Padre Island.
I don’t really have a beach to read at but it’s fun reading outside under a tree.
