There’s something undeniably magical about friendships – and something extra-otherworldly about ghostly friendship! They may be spirited, but they do come with hearts (or souls or?) as warm as any living friend. Some share their spectral wisdom, others help solve mysteries, and still others just join in on our adventures. But no matter what, these friendly ghosts remind us that we can always make new friends!
Now it’s time to meet some of the friendliest spirits in literature!

This post goes towards Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is a Halloween freebie. And also for this week’s Thursday 13 where we post a list of 13 things each week, any thing.
Yes! This is exactly my sort of Halloween reads—friendly ghosts, like Casper.
There’s a lot of interesting looking covers here, but I’m particularly drawn to Grave Expectations. I’ll have to check it out!
Aww, this is a fun twist. I like friendly ghost stories, too.
Love this list of friendly ghost books! Perfect mix for all ages. The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt sounds adorable—can’t wait to check it out. Thanks for the great Halloween reads!
I love this! I enjoy a good ghost story, especially if it’s only a *little* bit scary or not scary at all. I haven’t read any of these, so I’ll definitely be taking a closer look at some of them.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
Susan
