I searched high and low for my post today and it continues to hide in a super-secret hiding place… So, for today, as I start my post, I am posting the below photo for OrangeYouGladIt‘sFriday as well as a proud mom! This photo is of a handmade, homemade BB8 model (StarWars, anyone?!) made by my 14 yo. And motorized as well, and as it says on the photo, controlled by bluetooth.
You can click on the image itself or on the link here to know about this (this was a project he decided to work on himself – something else he saw online triggered his interest and then he came up with this – from initial idea, to working on it, to coming up with the instructable post). He keeps improving it constantly and he has now started on a new project. Will share that as well when he has it ready. My only contribution was to buy/order the materials he needed from Michaels/online stores. He got the list of items and the best deals online/elsewhere for me and made that part supereasy!

I have just started reading it and plan to review it soon. The Goodreads description starts like this ‘All families have secrets. Most go untold…’ so here I go finding the secrets!
Book Beginnings
It was a Saturday in June when life turned its savage eye on me. Up until then, I, Benjamin Hackett, had amassed eighteen years of solid idleness without a bother in the world, bar a questionable name and this itching wanderlust of youth that remained unsatisfied.
Friday 56
So I decided the only sensible thing to do was to lie down, close my eyes and take a moment for myself.
