Following the Cadbury dessert theme from yesterday, today, for the letter F, I feature Cadbury Five Star chocolate bar. This is a caramelly, chocolaty bar – soft caramel on the inside in every bite of chewy chocolate. It has definitely evolved over time and though I am not sure that I love the versions (yes, there are a few different versions of the 5-Star bar) today as much as I did the bar I devoured as a child, it is still loved and a very popular chocolate today as well in India. One more treasured treat to enjoy with my kids. I found an old vintage ad of the chocolate – pictured to the left. Now off to buy some for myself from the local Indian store here 🙂
Next for the letter F, is one character many of us fell in love with when we saw him first on TV – in ads – I am talking about Fido Dido. He was (and probably still is) the mascot for 7-Up and appeared in various cool, funny, sweet ads and I spent many hours drawing Fido Dido cartoons! Now we all watch the ads (old and new) together.
Signing off on the letter F as I continue on the #AtoZChallenge and #UltimateBloggingChallenge
Fido Dido was an adorable ad series! Loved them. Not a fan of 5* though – too sweet for me, preferr bitter/dark chocolate.
Here from the A-Z and enjoyed the trip down memory lane.

I love Cadbury eggs. I get them every Easter. I was always partial to the "Don't squeeze the Charmin" commercials of my childhood.
I remember so many of the toy advertisements from when I was a kid, "Rock em Sock em Robots", Easy Bake Oven, Baby Alive, etc.
I am big fan of cadbury and their adds are long time remember

I got the entire "menu" jingle from McDonalds in the 90s stuck in my head, and I can still sing it. Jingles never leave my brain. Ever.
