As part of my better me plan for the year, a healthy diet is one I definitely aim to work on. While I have not been an unhealthy eater or one who tends to overeat to compensate for anything else happening with me, I do have my eating faults and I am super excited to check out the Healthy Meal Planning Bundle for all that it offers and all that it can help me with. And I know that this can help me!
Disclaimer: This is my first time checking out this particular bundle but the folks at the Ultimate Bundle workshop churn out awesome bundles year round and I can vouch for that as I recently bought and am truly awed at the usefulness of their Genius Blogger’s Toolkit. (don’t worry, they will be offering it again later this year)
For one, from my posts earlier, you might already know that I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I know, I know, I need to cut down on sugar and I hope to work on this by substitution. Find healthier, more natural sweet treats for me to eat and I already know there are so many options, like simple to make but colorful and healthy fruit salads and smoothies with no added sugar (smoothies are a regular feature already at our home, thankfully!) or this wonderful treat – Melissa Torio’s Raw Cacao Hazelnut Bites – included in the Healthy Meal Planning Bundle I am planning to make just as soon as I get some hazelnuts (or maybe I will try out with a mix of the almonds and walnuts I have at home). I will post it on my blog as soon as I have tried it out but I know it will be yummmm.
Second, menu planning. I have been an on-again, off-again person as far as menu planning goes. But I do know for a fact that those weeks I had a menu planned were among the easiest cooking and healthiest eating weeks for our family. So I am planning to get back to menu planning actively and consistently this time around.
And a little help won’t hurt, so I plan to use the many meal planning options available in the Healthy Meal Planning Bundle to make it easier. With meal ideas by meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and more),
Third, making use of flavors to create recipes that we as a family can grow to love and make them uniquely ours! As a girl from South India growing up in a family where a variety of Indian dishes were cooked regularly – from all over India, not just the southern state of Tamil Nadu, I definitely have learned to appreciate the Indian food palate. And this Washington Post article revealed what makes Indian cuisine so distinctively delish – in hindsight, I knew this already!!!
Experimenting with flavors is definitely something I enjoy doing when I cook which is why the Flavor Crash Course (valued at $200) by Courtney Polivka excites me. It is part of the Healthy Meal Planning Bundle as well (which in addition to meal plans galore, recipes of every type possible, also includes so many extras such as this crash course, and it is on sale now!)
So, what are you waiting for? Did you say, more details and how to buy it? Well, here you go:
What does this bundle offer? It offers 1,072 recipes across 12 categories, 30+ ready-to-use meal plans with shopping lists and prep notes, 5 ecourses, 5 ebooks, and 4 printable packs & workbooks, and an optional add-on of 203 dessert and beverage recipes.
Do you want to check recipes by meal type or food allergies or cooking styles? Yes, you can with this bundle..
Or maybe you prefer to check out an easy to make meal or elaborate menu for a get-together? Nutrition information for recipes? Done and done.
With all the options this bundle offers, you can put together meals for the whole year and more.. and best of all, you just buy it today and you are done.
As for myself, I am a vegetarian and love that this also offers many vegetarian meals (and even for those that are not, like with recipes I find online, if it sounds and looks interesting, I switch out the items with options we do eat at home and we have a new recipe instantly!)
What does it cost? It is priced at the cool price of $37$47 for all breakfasts, lunches, dinners & sides and just $10 more for the add-on option and when you hear that it is valued at $1038, you know this is a bargain.
How can you buy it? Click here or the button below to buy it and if you buy it before tomorrow, you can also get the early bird bonus of 30 meals in 30 days challenge (valued at $21)
This is Day 2 of the January Ultimate Blog Challenge. You can click on the links below to check out my previous posts for this month’s UBC. While I have no specific theme going on unlike previous UBCs, it will definitely give you more fun stuff to read 🙂
Like you, I have a sweet tooth and have to work at curbing it. As for meal plans, I’m usually good at prepping, though I got out of sync during the holidays, but started back today.
that is cool! i need to get back as well and this will be helpful to get out of the loop i had before
That is a most interesting bundle.
But, I already plan my meals and they are theoretically a sound diet.
It’s the junk I eat between meals that is my problem.
🙂 i know what you are saying, Roy.. that is a problem we do tend to have too.. so that junk between meals also needs healthier substitutes and at the same time, i don’t want to go the extremes where we end up craving for all that junk and binge eating them.. so a balance is what i am striving for now
It does sound great! I am boring when it comes to food and my troop is the same. As long as they eat, especially the kids, I am a happy camper. Happy cooking!
ha ha i know what you are saying, while i thought i cook a variety of meals – travel around the culinary world every week, it seems i am on repeat mode after a few days..
Sounds great, Vidya! I am vegetarian, too, but would like to add healthier meals to my own meal planning. I do intuitive eating, so I am not looking to diet, but I would love to make healthy food tastier.
not dieting myself 🙂 but definitely can work with healthier eating choices (especially cut down on sweets!)
